Genuinely recommend this place. If you look for efficient and good quality straight perm or "professional chic" hair styles, this is the right place to go.

Got a perm from here, and I was super happy with the results. Also, I called a day in advance to make the appointment, and they were able to fit me in the next day. Price was super good for all of the services. THE PERM: Be forewarned, they will tell you which type of perm you should do. For me, since my hair is fine, they advised a regular perm. They also advised that I do a deep conditioning treatment beforehand, which I agreed to. That took an extra 20 minutes or so before the perm, and they gave me 5 weeks of additional little packets to use each week. The whole process was performed by the main stylist who mainly only spoke Korean (and needed a translator at times) and her assistant. The stylist also gave me a little hair trim before the perm. Then the perm itself took about 2 hours, including washing and drying my hair afterwards. Overall I was in the salon about 3 hours. Now, 2 weeks out from the perm, I can say it's equal to much higher priced perms that I've gotten in the past. Overall I am super happy with the results. I think in total, the price was around $180 for the perm and the conditioning treatment. I tipped each of the two ladies $20 and so the total was $220.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by Soyoun. I consulted with her about dying my hair two shades lighter to medium brown. About 3 inches of my hair was virgin hair and the rest was dyed hair. I appreciate that Soyoun and Michelle took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and communicate on what process would result in a uniform color throughout my hair so it looked natural. My appointment was with Michelle, and I liked that she was attentive when cutting and coloring my hair. I didn't feel it was rushed (if you want a quick cut this might not be what you're looking for). I regret not bringing a book to read!.. I was there for 2.5 hours due to the coloring process, as they had to remove the dyed color from half my hair before coloring my whole head. When my back started to ache from sitting, Michelle noticed and brought a cushion to prop behind my back! The hair wash was gentle and the brief scalp massage felt greattt. There are hair salons where my neck feels strained a minute into the hairwash. No neck pain here! The salon is spacious. There were two other customers, and we were spread out to different areas of the salon. Throughout my appointment(color, cut, wash, blowdry), not once was I asked to remove my mask. The staff always had their masks on too. I plan to come back to Juun Hair. The atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant.

My first time at this salon and I am in love! I saw this salon through yelp and I had to try it out. The hair stylist, Michelle, captured exaclty what I wanted. I showed her a picture from Pinterest and it was what I wanted. The owner, Su, also helped out with giving me knowledgeable advice on what to get and to expect. I will definately go back to get the ash brown balayage that she suggested next time! I was lucky to have went on a non-busy Sunday and got to talk to Michelle and Su! I got hair cut couple of days ago. I love my hair cut . She is the best hair designer. This is the first time, I am so satisfied my hair style. Michelle ! Thank you so much.

My first experience with Michelle wasn't the best. I went on a super busy Saturday and she was probably juggling 3 customers, so my cut/styling probably took her 10 minutes maximum. It wasn't bad though. I went back to her recently because I had dyed my hair light ash brown a few months ago, and preferred my original black hair, so Michelle dyed it a "natural black" (aka dark brown) and gave me a trim. I paid a total of $165 because the dye was $120, the cut was $45. I love the color and the trim. I stressed over and over again that I didn't want too much cut, and she definitely delivered exactly that. I told her I was going somewhere for work later that night, so she gave me a sleek, professional blowout. The biggest tip would be to go on a weekday during the daytime. And always make an appointment beforehand. They speak Korean, and their English does not seem to be too good, but the other customers in the shop were non-Koreans and they seemed to communicate just fine (and their hair looked great afterwards). Also, not sure if Kay is still working there but she was not the most talented of stylists IMO :( My husband got his hair cut a few times by her, but it left much to be desired. She's nice though!
